Hello and welcome to another blog post!

My last post was back in December and that’s because my laptop cracked in half haha. I finally have a new laptop so get ready for some new posts! This is gonna be a lengthy post so get yourself a snack!

Ultra Organics Clear Henna Wax Treatment $6.99

This treatment I heard about in the Curly Girl Method Australian group which is basically a group for people with curly hair that are following the Curly Girl Method. I bought it to try out because it’s super affordable and I loved it. I’m on to my 3rd tub of it atm! I use it as a treatment and use it about twice a week and leave it on for at least an hour. It makes your hair look really nice and shiny and it feels super soft.

Ultra Organics Intense Chamomile Conditioner $6.99

I picked up this conditioner when I bought the Clear Henna Wax. When I first tried it I initially didn’t like it but I kept using it and I like it a lot better now. I find when I use it just by itself and not use shampoo it seems to work better, not sure how that makes sense though. It does have chunks chamomile in it but it doesn’t get stuck into the hair or anything. I have re bought this a few times and I’m pretty happy with it. It also smells really nice.

Botani Exfoliating 2 in 1 Scrub & Mask $39.95

I picked this up from Flora and Fauna to try out because I love exfoliating and I love masks and this is a dream team. I really liked using it as an exfoliator, it left my skin feel smooth and was gentle as well. I don’t like using rough scrubs on my face. I tried it out as a face mask a few times and I found it a bit too much for my sensitive skin. It does say on the packaging that using it as a mask might be a bit too much. Overall I would probably repurchase and use as a scrub rather than a mask.

Black Chicken Remedies Axilla Deodorant Paste Sample $8.50

I’ve been trialing different deodorants for awhile now because vegan deodorants can be either really great or really bad. I’ve heard so many good things about the Axilla paste from Black Chicken Remedies. I bought a sample size of this to try out and the sample itself lasted me a month which is crazy considering the size. The actual deodorant itself was awesome! I found it lasted all day without the need to reapply. I’ve repurchased the full size and I recommend this deodorant 100%.

Andalou Naturals Willow Bark Pure Pore Toner $11.99

I love trying out new skincare so I picked up this Andalou Naturals kit to try out. This toner is made for oily and overactive skin types. I don’t have oily skin but I do sweat a lot and have overactive skin. It has aloe vera juice which hydrates the skin and it also features Kombucha priobitics which is really cool. When I used it, it gave my skin a nice tingling feeling and made my skin feel nice and calm. It has a lot of ingredients that are anxtioxidant based which is awesome because it protects the skin and nourishes it. I have repurchased this product in the full size and I’m really enjoying it.

Rosehip Plus Nourishing Night Cream $29.95

If you have been following me for a while you will know that I love the Rosehip Plus rosehip oil! I tried out their night cream and I used it with the rosehip oil as well and I really liked it. It moisturised my skin but it wasn’t too heavy and sunk into my skin really well. I’ve been through two of these awesome night creams and I would definitely repurchase.

Vegan Organics Watermelon Conditioning Hair Cream $16.00

I received this hair cream in a vegan subscription box and it took me ages to finally use it because it kinda just go pushed to the back of my hair drawer. I tried it out last week because I had run out of conditioning creams so I applied it to the ends and mid lengths of my hair and left it in for a day and I hated it. It says you can apply to damp or dry hair and leave it in as a leave in conditioner so that’s what I did and it just clumped my hair all together and made it look unclean and gross. The smell was really nice but the product itself I found to be shit if I’m honest.

Botani Rescue Acne Cream $26.95

This acne cream is a godsend. I’m onto my second pot of this magic cream and I’m obsessed. It absorbs excess oil and impurities but doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s non abrasive, reduces inflammation and redness. It kills the bacteria that causes acne and I’ve found that when I would usually have acne reappear in the same area, it no longer returns there. It can also be used after shaving to help relieve skin irritations and inflammation too! It you have acne you NEED to try this out! A pot lasts you ages as well so it’s well worth the money.

Lush Rudolph Jelly Face Mask Limited Edition $15.95

So I wanted to let you know that unfortunately you cannot buy this face mask anymore because it was a Christmas exclusive which makes me really sad because I fell in love with this mask! I’ve used two of these babies and I wish I picked up more. I found this mask to be super similar to the Cupcake Fresh Face Mask that Lush also sells. First of all this mask smells SO GOOD and I wish you could eat it. It contains Kaolin clay which cleans out the pores and absorbs any excess oil. It also has carrageenan extra which leaves your skin feeling super soft. It also brightens the skin with tangerine oil and fresh orange juice. Every time I used it my skin felt cleared out and soft, and it looked so bright and fresh. I really hope Lush bring this face mask back because in my opinion it’s the best jelly face mask out of all of them.

Eco Modern Essentials Lavender Essential Oils $16.00

I’ve tried a few different brands of essential oils and Eco is hands down my favourite brand. They are affordable and have a great range of different oils. They also do rollerballs which saves you making your own. Lavender is my favourite oil to use and I’ve gone through about 4 of these and I 100% recommend it and you should try out their other oils too!

Alchemy Lavender & Anthyllis Leave-in Conditioner $19.95

I’ve tried this leave in conditioner twice now over the years and I really just don’t like it. It smells nice but I find it’s not hydrating enough and makes my hair really knotty and unmanageable.

Medusa’s Makeup Stick It! Eye Primer $12.70

I really tried to make this primer work but I just couldn’t make it work. I tried setting it with different powders, I tried without powders and just eye shadow and it would always crease really bad.

Medusa’s Makeup The Fix Glitter Adhesive $12.70

The glitter adhesive worked really great! It held glitter on my eyelids and face for hours and didn’t make it crumbly or weird looking. I definitely recommend this one if you love a good glitter eye.

Manic Panic Dreamtone Colour Correction Foundation $17.95

I originally bought this foundation to mix with my current ones because I had heaps of trouble finding my shade and everything was always too dark. This was a great foundation to mix with or even just wear by itself. A little goes a long way with this one.

Dr Bronner’s Lavender Organic Hand Sanitizer $8.95

I love Dr Bronner’s and I love lavender so this is a match made in heaven. I’ve been through about 3 of these hand sanitizes and I love them. This hand sanitizer is awesome because it’s a spray! It drys super quickly and you don’t have to worry about rubbing in gel into your hands.

Essence Get Big Lashes Mascara $4.50

Essence have heaps of vegan options which is awesome! To read a 2019 vegan list click here. I like their mascara’s because they are affordable and work well. Get Big Lashes is great because it’s not clumpy but makes your lashes look nice and long.

Woohoo! Deodorant Paste $5.50

This was another of the deodorants I’ve tried and I didn’t mind it at all. It’s a paste which is a bit annoying to apply but it worked well and I found I didn’t have to reapply during the day which is always a good thing.

Elf Cosmetics Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer $9.00

For the price this eyeshadow primer worked really well! I did find I had to set it with a lot of powder so it wouldn’t crease but once it was set it was great all day.

Agadir Argan Oil Hair Treatment $29.99

This is one of my favourite argan oils for my hair! It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way. I usually stock up on this when priceline have their 50% off hair care sale. It can also be a little hard to find vegan argan oils too!

Colourpop Game Face Super Shock Shadow $5.00

I really enjoyed this shadow, the colour is gorgeous and it’s super affordable. The only issue I had with it is that there wasn’t much product in the pan and I did find you had to use a bit to build the colour nicely.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Due in Granite $43.00

ABH brow products use to be my go to when I use to fill my brows in very dark. I loved their promade and this powder was great to create that fade effect at the front of your brows. This powder has two colours in it which makes it easy to do your whole brows with one product. I do prefer to use Eye of Horus brow products now because I like to go for a more natural brow product.

Australis Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops $20.95

When Australis released these shade adjusting drops I was so excited because they are vegan and I’m pale and I always have trouble matching foundations to my skin tone. When using the drops it doesn’t change your foundation finish which is great! The drops come with a dropper which makes it super easy to mix with. The bottle also lasted me ages as well! Definitely worth the money,

Lust Minerals Brow Dust $29.99

I received this brow dust in a vegan subscription box and the actual product is awesome and I have tried it out on my brows and it lasted all day and was easy to use. The only issue I have with it is that it’s way too dark for my brows therefore I don’t use it much. I would definitely be open to purchasing a new one in my brow colour.

Essence The False Lashes Mascara $6.00

This is another awesome mascara by Essence. The brush on this one really allows for you to get right to the roots of your lashes which gives them a nice lift. It isn’t clumpy which is great and again, it’s super affordable!

Thanks for reading!
