Welcome to another favourites blog post!
The first month of spring is officially done and over and I’m pretty excited for the warmer weather. I’m hoping with summer coming that my skin won’t be as dry!
This makeup remover only contains 3 ingredients! It has sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil and jojoba oil.
When I first tried this makeup remover I found it a bit annoying cause it’s a oil makeup remover and it was hard to get off my face. Recently I have been using it with my face halo to remove mascara and it works so much better and doesn’t leave my skin oily. It gets rid of mascara easily and you don’t have to rub super hard at your eye.
Vanillary is a gorgeous perfume I have been buying from Lush for year. I love wearing it in Spring because it’s sweet and warm. It has a blend of vanilla absolute, tonka and a hint of jasmine. It lasts on the skin and clothes all day and a few sprays and you’re good.
I love this butter block because it is super moisturising and smells amazing. It is a combination of Organic coconut oil, Organic cocoa butter and essential oils. Whenever I smell the bar or apply it to the skin it reminds me of summer. This is a naked product which means it comes with no plastic packaging. Ethique states that one bar is equivalent to 3 bottles of 250ml body lotion. I love using it all over my body but especially on super dry areas like my elbows and feet. It melts into your skin and leaves you moisturised for hours.
I’ve talked about this smudge spray before but I love it so much. I love smudging my space to clear out any negative energies but sometimes I can’t be bothered. This spray from Captain Blanketship is amazing. It’s a smokeless smudge spray so it’s perfect for people that don’t like all the smoke that comes from smudging. It smells great and I spray it around my space to refresh my room.
I have had two of these treatments sitting in my bathroom for the longest time and I finally got around to trying one of them out a few weeks ago. I heated it up in the microwave and applied it to my hair and left it on overnight. My hair smelt amazing and was left so soft and hydrated.
It’s a great hot oil treatment for damaged and over processed hair that helps to deep condition the hair. I have one left and I can’t wait to use it again because winter has been tough on my hair leaving it dry and lifeless.
I received this little balm in the Flora and Fauna Spring beauty box. I’m nearly completely finished using it! It’s a soothing balm for dry and damaged skin that is made up of shea butter, olive oil, calendula, Gotu kola and chickweed. All the ingredients are natural and are free from allergens like gluten, dairy and alcohol. Because there is calendula inside it’s a great skin tonic as it’s naturally anti bacterial. Chickweed helps to reduce itching and inflammation. A little goes a long way with this balm and it feels super nice on the skin.
I’m going to be buying the big tub soon because I just want to lather my body in this so I’m nice and moisturised and my sensitive skin will be happy.
Body brushing is great for circulation and dry skin. I try to do it everyday when I remember but it’s improved my dry skin and my skin always feels soft and smooth. This awesome eco max body brush is handmade from natural sisal which is a form of cactus. It’s environmentally friendly, handmade and biodegradable which is great for the planet!
Another great thing about this body brush is that you can put it into your compost bin and it will breakdown naturally!
These are all my favourites for September!
