So I put up a poll on my instagram and asked everything if they wanted to see a Empties blog post next or a June Favourites and guess what won!
I haven’t posted a favourites post since November so this is long overdue. I am going to try and write more of a review for future favourite posts too!
Lush Full Of Grace Solid Facial Serum $14.95
Full of Grace is a deeply moisturising facial serum that is naked, which means it has no packaging! The bar melts and glides over the skin without it feeling super heavy. It contains Portobello mushrooms for skin conditioning and protecting, calamine powder for calming the skin, fresh rose petal infusion to condition and soothe the skin and Murumuru butter which protects and moisturises. It’s great for scaring and acne. It’s also great to apply before a face mask as it helps draw in the ingredients from the face mask to the deeper layers of the skin.
1000 Hour Eyebrow & Lash Tint $18.99
I’ve wanted to tint my lashes and brows for the longest damn time and I finally did it at the start of June with these brow and lash tints from 1000 Hour. I used the dark brown for my brows which are naturally a very light brown and I used the natural black for my light lashes. The overall process was super easy and the instructions are easy to follow. The results are suppose to last 4-6 weeks and so far its been 4 weeks and my lashes and brows are still tinted the same as it was on the first day which is amazing. It’s super affordable and you get a years worth of supply out of one box.
Lush Let The Good Times Roll Cleanser $17.50
Let the good times roll is this amazing fresh cleanser that has a buttery popcorn smell which is to die for. It contains maize flour and polenta which gently exfoliates the skin and then cinnamon powder is added which stimulates the skin and leaves it feeling fresh. I love this cleaner because it has a super gentle scrubby aspect to it and I love exfoliating daily so this is perfect as it’s not too rough at all.
The Physic Garden Calm Balm $19.95
You have probably heard me talk about the Calm Balm several times over the last few years but it’s honestly an amazing holy grail product. It has bergamot, mandarin and cedarwood and can be used on the wrists, neck and temples. I love using as a lip balm as it leaves my lips feeling amazing. I’ve had the cold from hell recently and my nose and lips were left super super dry and irritated from blowing my nose 1000 times a day so I regularly put this on my nose and lips to calm down the irritation and help the dryness and it was amazing!
The Physic Garden Eucalyptus Rub $13.95
I feel like this Eucalyptus Rub is a must have for everyone. I use this whenever I feel like I’m stuffy and I’ve had a cold recently which has meant I cannot breathe out of my damn nose so I’ve been using this similar to how I use to use vicks (all over my chest and nose). After using this I would wake up feeling a lot better and could breathe a lot clearer.
Envirocare Silicone Free Intensive Hair Treatment $10.40
I received this hair treatment in a beauty box last year and I finally got around to using it and I absolutely love it. It smells really nice and leaves my hair feeling super soft. It’s a silicone free treatment which is amazing and it contains jojoba, apricot, coconut and mandarin oil which help protect the hair and moisturise and strengthen the hair shaft.
Mukti Botanique Deodorant Spray $24.95
I have tried over 20 vegan deodorants (not even joking) and a lot of them don’t work at all. I stumbled across this spray from Mukti last year. I honestly didn’t think it would work but it really does. It’s a spray which I like because it’s super easy to apply. It’s also aluminium free which is a plus and contains Lavender, Witch Hazel, Aloe, Sage and Clary Sage. I usually react to deodorants that contain bicarb but I have never reacted to this one! I’m currently on my second bottle of this and I’ve been pairing it with a roll on deodorant and it ends up lasting all day.
Lush Twilight Body Spray $29.95
If you’re a fan of Lavender or need help with anxiety, sleeping or stress you need to get your hands on this spray. Lavender oil has been used for centuries for calming down anxiety and aiding with stress and sleep. I use this as a body spray and I love spray it on my pillows and sheets as the scent lasts days. Whenever I smell this spray I instantly feel calmer and it helps relax me when I’m trying to sleep. I’ve had this bottle since November and I spray it daily and I still haven’t run out.
Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Curl Milk $19.99
I picked this up last time Priceline had their 50% off Haircare sale and I’m so happy I did. I apply this when my hair is damp and scrunch it into my curls. It not only hydrates them and nourishes the curls but it gives nice volume and bounce to them. It also smells amazing.
So here are all of my favourites for June! There wasn’t too many products but I really enjoyed the ones mentioned.
Thanks for reading!
