Welcome to another empties post! If you read my last empties post I’ve been hoarding my empties for a while so this post is going to be big!
The Physic Garden Calm Balm $12.95
This was my first pot of Calm Balm that I received in a beauty box and I fell in love straight away. It contains bergamot, mandarin, cedarwood, shea butter, passionflower and lemon balm. It’s a gentle natural balm which can be applied to pulse points or massaged in. I love using this on my wrists and neck when I’m feeling anxious and my favourite way to use it is as a lip balm. I haven’t had chapped lips since I’ve been using this for over a year and it leaves your lips slightly glossy. I’ve already repurchased the larger size and have started to get my best friend on to it too!
Lush Buche De Noel Fresh Cleanser $17.50
This amazing cleanser is released each year at Christmas time and it smells amazing! It has ground almonds, brandy and cranberries just to name a few of the ingredients. I buy this cleanser every Christmas and just smelling it reminds me of Christmas!
Body Crystal Botanica Crystal Roll-on Deodorant
I bought this from Coles ages ago as it was one of the only deodorants that were vegan there. From memory it was only a few dollars but it wasn’t worth it. It smelt nice but didn’t last at all and I found myself having to reapply it multiple times a day.
Lush Tea Tree Water Toner Water $19.95
This is a toner that I always go back to and use as a staple. I have acne prone skin so I always favour products with tea tree in it as it’s antibacterial and antiseptic. Tea tree works great for acne prone skin! These toners are affordable and last the longest time.
Dr Alkaitis Day Creme & Night Creme Samples
I didn’t notice any difference to my skin when using these. I loved the smell and texture of them but they just didn’t do anything for me. The brand is really expensive so I bought a started kit that they use to do on Nourised Life so I could try them out and the samples sizes were big and lasted longer than too weeks which was a good thing.
Lush Santa’s Christmas Shower Cream 100g
This was a new shower cream that Lush released for Christmas 2017. It’s a spicy but sweet, thick and moisturising shower cream. It has a great bright red colour too! The scent reminds me of vanilla coke and I love it. I still have two 500g bottles of this because I stocked up just incase Lush don’t bring it out again. It’s definitely a favourite of mine.
Goddess Vanilla Caramel Vegan Bath Mousse $10.95
Goddess Candles is run by one of my amazing friends and she makes the most amazing candles, melts and beauty products. She has affordable prices and everything is scented amazingly. She also does some Lush scents too! I will definitely be repurchasing this because it smelt so damn good. It’s basically a whipped soap/body wash that is moisturising but cleansing. And the Vanilla Caramel scent is to die for!
Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub
Ocean salt is another Lush product that I’ve used on and off for the last 7 years. It’s a great facial scrub with sea salt, avocado butter and lime. It has an amazing scent and leaves your skin feeling baby soft. Only downside is if you have any cuts, open wounds or acne/pimples the sea salt can sting.
Agadir Argan Oil Hair Treatment $29.95
This is a great hair oil that you can pick up from Priceline that leaves your hair shiny and smooth. It also helps keep the ends of my hair free from any dryness and frizz. I repurchased two more of these bottles during the recent Priceline haircare sale. A little goes a long way with this oil.
Lush Grease Lightening Spot Treatment $13.95
I’ve tried so many different spot treatments but this is one that actually works. It helps the appearance of my acne but doesn’t completely get rid of it as I have acne from PCOS which is hormonal and no product can get rid of it. It has tea tree, thyme, rosemary and aloe vera which makes a clear gel like consistency. The bottle is small but it lasted me ages and you only need a small amount. I use to apply this before bed and wait for it to dry before I would go to sleep.
Davroe All Clear Anti-dandruff Conditioner $17.95
I really liked the shampoo version of this but I found the conditioner did nothing for my dandruff and it didn’t conditioner or moisturise my hair at all. The shampoo was great with getting rid of any flakiness and wasn’t too drying on the hair for an anti-dandruff shampoo. I wouldn’t repurchase this conditioner.
Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Cream 500g
Lord of Misrule is a cult classic shower cream that Lush usually brings out for Halloween/Christmas every year. Its a dark green thick shower cream that has black pepper, patchouli and vanilla absolute. It’s a sweet but spicy mix that is both calming and invigorating. I purchase some every year and will continue to do so because it’s become a halloween tradition.
Grants Natural Mild Mint with Aloe Vera Toothpaste $4.20
I love Grants toothpaste because they have heaps of different flavours but mild mint is definitely my favourite. It’s the perfect amount of mint and leaves your teeth and mouth feeling fresh.
Lush Dark Angels Fresh Facial Cleanser $17.50
I like using this cleanser as more of a mask/exfoliator. Its a charcoal, black sugar and rhassoul mud cleanser. It’s very deep cleansing and great for removing all the gunk from your skin. I have dry skin and this is usually targeted for people with oily skin but I didn’t have any trouble with that.
Eco. Face Pimple Clear $18.00
This was one of the many spot treatments I’ve tried and I did like this one but it is on the pricer side. It contains just Lavender oil and Tea Tree oil so you can definitely remake this at home if you have those two essential oils which I do.
Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask $13.95
This is one of my go to favourite face masks. It’s extremely hydrating and great for sensitive skin. It contains oatmeal, banana, illipe butter and ground almonds. It is one of the fresh face masks that Lush do so it does need to be kept in the fridge and only lasts two weeks but I always forget to put mine in the fridge and I haven’t had any issues. I love using this mask in Winter as my skin tends to dry out.
Rosehip Plus Rosehip Oil $19.95
If you follow my instagram you know how much I love this Rosehip oil! Rosehip oil is great for scars, sun damage, hydration and so much more. This one is cold pressed which means you get a higher quality oil. I use this at night to treat my acne scars and to improve the overall appearance of my face. It can also be used on stretch marks which is great!
Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask $13.95
Rosy Cheeks is another one of my go to favourite face mask. I love using this mask when my skin is feeling extra sensitive as it helps calm down my skin with calamine powder and turkish rose oil. It leaves your skin with a nice matte finish so it’s great before makeup and for oiler skin types.
Agadir Argan Oil Spray Treatment $39.95
I bought this last year when Priceline was having their haircare sale. It was the first time I’ve tried it and it promises to hydrate, condition and leave hair shiny. I didn’t really like this product as I found it didn’t really absorb into the hair. You get better results apply oil to your hair rather than using this spray. Also for the price, this spray did not last long at all. I have long curly hair and I went through it really fast. I wouldn’t repurchase this again as it’s cheaper to purchase the argan oil.
Lush FOMO Jelly Face Mask $13.50
This was the first jelly face mask I tried from the new face mask range from Lush and I liked this one the best out of the 5. I find this mask similar to Rosy Cheeks but in a jelly form. It has calamine and rose so it soothes the skin and it has neroli which naturally lifts your mood. The jelly texture is very different but fun and this one was easy to apply to the face.
Brite Organic Mango Masque for Dry Hair $9.95
I always use this mask and leave it in my hair for usually 10-30 minutes. If leaves my hair feeling hydrated, soft and smelling like fresh mangoes. I usually get this mask when it’s half price and I get about 3-5 full hair masks out of one packet. They have all different ones for different hair types and concerns.
100% Pure Healthy Scalp Conditioner $24.95
I bought this conditioner to try as it’s suppose to help with a dry scalp and dandruff. It did absolutely nothing for my hair. It didn’t reduce itchyness, flakiness or hydrate my scalp. I wouldn’t recommend this at all and will not be repurchasing it.
Lush Charity Body Hand & Body Lotion $14.95
Charity Pot is an amazing moisturiser/body lotion that Lush does and 100% of proceeds minus GST, goes to small grass root charities. It’s super moisturising with jojoba oil, olive oil, cocoa butter and shea butter. I definitely recommend this as it sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave an oily layer at all.
Thank you for reading another Empties blog post and let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think of them!?!
