Welcome to a long overdue Empties post! This post is going to be a makeup edition one because if I put all empties into one post it would be crazy long so lookout for part two next week!
Sugarpill Pro Palette
I picked up this palette at an IMATS in Sydney probably 4 years ago I think! It has 12 of their best and brightest colours. Sugarpill’s shadows are really pigmented and blend super well!
I hadn’t completely finished this palette yet but because it was so old I found the shadows weren’t performing as they use to so it’s time to say goodbye!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Promade in Granite
ABH Diprow Promade use to be my go to brow product! These pots may be expensive but they last so damn long and I used to get nearly a year out of one! You can build up the product to create really dramatic brows or keep them low key. This pot dried up from over a year ago when I had black hair.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Druglord Liquid Lipstick
I use to be obsessed with JSC and I had all the liquid lip colours. They have a great formula that doesn’t feel too drying on the lips and last nearly all day. This white lipstick is great to use for mixing colours but other than that it is not the most practical lipstick for day to day use.
Lime Crime Silver Eyeliner
This is another product I bought from IMATS years ago when Lime Crime wasn’t such a bad company. I loved the colour range they had for their eyeliners and they went on great the first time but once you would put the applicator back into the bottle the eyeliner bristles would go everywhere and not stay straight so when you would go to apply again, you would get eyeliner everywhere from all these stray hairs. These eyeliners are no longer available which is probably a good thing.
Daiso Eyebrow Trimmers
I bought this pack of 5 eyebrow trimmers from Daiso a year or so ago (for like $2.80) and they have changed my life. Eyebrow trimmers are a great way to get rid of peach fuzz on your face as well as shape your eyebrows and get rid of any unwanted hair. I will definitely be repurchasing these.
Kat Von D Sinner Perfume 10ML
I picked up the Saint and Sinner 10ML perfumes from my local sephora on boxing day last year as the full size bottles had sold out and I was so impressed with both of them. Sinner is a dark, sultry fragrance that is a little sweet and spicy. It features cinnamon, vanilla, patchouli and white florals that make this perfume great for the colder months.
Kat Von D is known for her amazing packaging and she didn’t let us down with the Sinner perfume either.
Kat Von D Beauty Saint Perfume 10ML
Saint is my current favourite perfume! Saint and Sinner actually share the same floral scents but Sinner is more bold and spicy. You can also layer both perfumes together which I had tried and loved it. This perfume features jasmine, Tiaré flower, vanilla, sandalwood, mandarin and caramel. I loved wearing this fragrance during summer as it was nice and light.
I really hope Sephora makes Saint a permanent perfume because it’s such a romantic and floral scent that lasts all day. It took a few weeks to track down both Saint and Sinner pefumes at Sydney Sephora’s because they were all sold out.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Redrum Liquid Lipstick
This was my go to red lipstick for so long. I first purchased this with two others when Jeffree first released JSC. Like all of his liquid lipsticks, they have a great formula that isn’t too drying and last most of the day.
Manic Panic Goth White Cream Foundation
This is a pure white cream foundation and is great if you are doing SPFX makeup looks that require a pure white base or you are wanting to wear it by itself as foundation. It’s a thick/full coverage foundation that is a little hard to apply but once it’s on the skin it blends in really nice.
Lime Crime Purple Eyeliner
This was one of the other colours I picked up at the Lime Crime booth at IMATS when they first came to Australia and as I said previously, great colour and pigment but the applicator brush and bottle were so bad and made the brush flay out and not able to use to apply eyeliner.
Manic Panic Pressed White Powder
This was another product I picked up with the white cream foundation to make a completely white base when I would do SPFX makeup. It’s a purely white powder that is medium coverage. The compact also includes a puff which was awesome.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Promade in Chocolate
As I said a bit further up in this post, the dipbrow promade is great for filling in and drawing brows. You can build it up to create dramatic brows or use less to create soft, everyday brows. I bought this when I was getting rid of my black hair and I didn’t end up using it all and it dried out.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
KVD Tattoo Liner has been my all time favourite eyeliner for a few years and I still haven’t found one that compares to how easy it is to use and it’s amazing all day staying power. I’ve gone through about 3 of them and I will continue to purchase them. They also last really long and I can usually get nearly a year out of one.
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation
Skin base was one of the first foundations I used because all “drug store” foundations didn’t have a pale enough foundation for my skin type. I’ve used skin base on and off for over 4 years and it’s a great foundation that you can build coverage with. This is their second palest shade with them actually having a complete white foundation as their palest which is great.
Lime Crime Black Eyeliner
I did not like this black liner at all. It was patchy and had to build a solid line, and as said further up in this post, the applicator brush and bottle were horrible. It’s probably a good thing Lime Crime don’t make this eyeliner range anymore.
Thank you for reading and I will be posting about twice a week from now on!
