Hello! Hope everyone is well.
It’s that time of year when the best month ever (October) is upon us. I have always been a fan of Halloween and it’s be great to see how each year it grows in Australia!
Two of my favourite collections that Lush come out with each year is Halloween and Christmas and here is a short blog post on this year’s Halloween range at Lush!
Lord of Misrule Shower Cream $19.95+
The first product I want to talk about is Lord of Misrule shower cream. It’s a gorgeous deep green colour that is herbal, spicy and incredibly thick shower cream that smells absolutely amazing. It’s been one of my favourite scents for a few years and I’m so happy that Lush bring it out every time for Halloween. Also this year Lush are not producing 100g shower creams/gels for Halloween and Christmas as they require more plastic to produce (correct me if I’m wrong).
Bewitched Gift Set $32.95
I mainly wanted this gift set cause I wanted to try the Secret Art’s jelly bath bomb! In the set you get:
- 100g Lord Of Misrule Shower Cream
- Secret Art’s Jelly Bath Bomb
- Bewitched Bubble Bar
- Cat knot wrap
I think for the items you get and the price, it’s definitely worth it! We should be getting the Secret Art’s jelly bomb soon as a single in Australia!
Monsters’ Ball Bath Bomb $8.95
Monsters’ ball is one of my favourite bath bombs. This bath bomb has lime oil, neroli oil, olibanum oil which makes this gorgeous scent which is known as calacas! It also has a really cute little eye which is made out of vegan dark chocolate. This bath bomb is so beautiful in the water and you get gorgeous colours. Please excuse my sad looking Monsters’ ball, I dropped him 😦
Little Pumpkin Gift Set $18.50
This gift set is so cute, you get two products in it thats packaged in a cute little pumpkin baubles.
In this gift set you get:
- Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar
- Pumpkin Bath Bomb
Black Rose Naked Lip Scrub $9.95
This is our first naked lip scrub here in Aus and I’m so happy it’s in the halloween range. A naked lip scrub is basically the same as the potted lip scrubs that lush do without the packaging. The Black Rose naked lip scrub has coconut oil and caster sugar which gentle keeps your lips smooth and soft. It also has organic jojoba oil which leaves your lips nice and moisturised and it’s scented with ylang ylang and Sicilan mandarin oils.
I haven’t bought this lip scrub yet but I’ve been trying it out at work and it’s next on my to buy list. I really like that with the naked lip scrubs I find them less messy than the potted versions!
Rainbow Skull Knot Wrap $7.95
This bright coloured psychedelic skull knot wrap is perfect for halloween!
Black Rose Naked Lip Tint $9.95
This naked lip tint is the same as the usual lip tints just without the packaging and it has the same scent as the black rose naked lip scrub. This also comes in the package version this year which is great as I feel the naked version would get a bit messy but if you have a small container to store it in and a lip brush you would be fine. This lip tint is a gorgeous pinky colour that kind of changes on everyone’s different natural lip colours.
Black Rose Lip Tint $9.95
This is the same as the naked lip tint but just with the packaging which makes it easier to take out with you as it’s in a hand tube with a lid.
Mystic Knot Wrap $6.95
As soon as I saw this knot wrap I fell in love and bought it straight away. I love the moon and spirituality so this knot wrap is a dream. Lush describes it as:
“Neptune – the planet of dreams and illusion, mystique and spirituality. Lose yourself within it’s hypnotically slow orbit, wrapping yourself within the folds of dreams. Tap into your inner intuition, and shroud yourself from the evil eye”.
Magic Wand Soap $7.50
I bought this guy last year but I’m not the biggest fan of the scent. The scent includes orange, tangerine and pomegranate. I really love the colours and shape of this soap though!
Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar $11.50
This shimmer bar has gold, green, purple and silver lustre and a fruit scent of almond, grapefruit and bergamot. It has illipe and cupucacu butters which make melt into the skin. I bought one of these last year but I have no idea where it is and I didn’t use it so this year when it came out at work I tried it out and fell in love. It’s add the perfect amount of shimmer and I think it would be great for going out at night or festival season.
Hedgewitch Soap $7.50
This soap has mulberries, blackberries, Sicilian mandarin oil, honeysuckle flower infusion and fair trade organic cocoa butter which makes it a moisturising soap with a lovely scent. I haven’t bought any yet but I’m going to pick up a 100g piece before it goes as I have really started to like the scent.
Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar $8.95
I love that lush brought out a pink version of the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar cause it’s looks so damn cute! The scent is geranium and bergamot oils and jasmine absolute. I’m not the biggest fan of the scent but it’s so cute looking.
Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb $7.95
Returning again for another Halloween is the much loved Lord of Misrule bath bomb. This beautiful bomb is the same scent as the shower cream and give a gorgeous spill of colours in the bath with popping candy to make it sizzle. This year we have the same version as the UK which is the lighter green. If you remember from last year we had a very deep green bomb. If you’re going to pick up anything from the halloween range, make sure it’s one of these spicy babies.
Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar $8.95
This is a return from last year and I’m glad it’s back as the scent is really nice and it’s looks so gorgeous with gold shimmer. The scent is Lime Oil, Grapefruit Oil and Juniperberry Oil. I like to use half of this bubble bar and you get a tonne of beautiful bubbles.
Bewitched Bubble Bar $9.95
The bewitched bubble bar is a new addition this year and is the blackberry scent and makes your bath water pitch black with shimmer with gorgeous white, fluffy bubbles. It also looks super cute and I recommend picking up one of these cute little cats.
Pumpkin Bath Bomb $7.95
This is another return from last year which I’m happy is back as its scented with pimento berry oil, vanilla absolute, cinnamon bark oil which gives it the nice sweet pumpkin pie scent which is spicy and sweet.
Ectoplasm Jelly Bath Bomb $8.95
Last but not least is this super exciting and new item to this year’s Halloween collection, Ectoplasm! Ectoplasm is one of the first jelly bath bombs to arrive in Australia and it’s decorated really cute with a little white ghost. It’s scented with grapefruit oil and tangerine oil. The jelly is 100% vegetarian and made out of sodium alginate.
